Fall 2019: AITP Career Connections

The EIU Chapter of AITP talked tech and careers with industry professionals at the Fall 2019 AITP Career Connections. Guests gave their perspectives on what students can do to stay on the leading edge, and how they can build relationships during the career fair and hiring process. Professors, Chairs, and the Dean from the Lumpkin School of Business and Technology got involved and shared some examples of how they are changing the curriculum to match the changing tech industry: offering students in one class the option to take a Tableau certification test in place of the final exam, offering more lessons on the R programming language, and offering more lessons on the Python programming language.
